The use of dual X-ray absorptiometry to measure bone density has become very popular over the years, and although a significant correlation was obtained when comparing BMD using dual X-ray absorptiometry and Archimede’s principle in rats, the precision, accuracy, and sensitivity of this method in bone density determination remains a topic of concern.
